Planning and drilling a well requires knowledge and data in order to ensure minimum time is lost dealing with unespected conditions. No parameter is more important the optimum mud weight (OMW), it will dictate the stability of the bores through all the stratigraphic column and the reservoir. In this module the user should be able to calculate or predict the following:

• Minimum mud weight – Calculation only
• Fluid invasion radius – Calculation only
• Expected hole size – Calculation only
• Optimum orientation – From existing results obtained from the Exploration module
• Maximum LOT pressures to be applied – From an existing algorithm

A summary of these parameters for a particular depth can be presented in a Dashboard composed of the Bars, pies and numerical results of these 6 parameters (1 to 6)
