Spirit Energy has awarded engineering work for their new well in the SNS to IESL. Determination of near wellbore mechanical and fluid performance issues identified a number of production impairment mechanisms that could restrict inflow in the new gas well. The work investigates the change in mechanical and petro-physical properties of the reservoir rock at the near wellbore, will review formation damage potential and perforation’s charge performance.
